External SATA to USB adapter
The small module is an ideal solution in situations where there is a need to copy data from one disk to another.
When there is no possibility to mount the drive inside a desktop computer or laptop, the adapter will allow you to easily and conveniently connect 2.5" HDDs and SSDs using the USB 3.0 port.
The device will be especially helpful when transferring the operating system or when backing up files.
USB 3.0 Super Speed
Backward USB compatibility allows this plug to be connected also to older standards of this interface, and the maximum bandwidth of 5 Gb/s guarantees fast reading and writing, necessary in many applications.
The adapter works on a Plug & Play basis, which means that it does not need to install any additional drivers. It also supports Hot Plug/Swap, which allows you to connect and disconnect drives while the computer's power is on. It is 100% compatible with USB Bulk-Only mode.
The device is compatible with all operating systems.
Support for 2.5" drives The device is designed for 2.5" drives, which include both fast, solid-state SSDs, which are currently the most popular standard among mass storage, as well as smaller magnetic HDDs designed for laptops.
ATTENTION!
The adapter does not work with 3.5" SATA drives and CD-ROM / DVD drives that need 12 V power. This is due to the higher power requirements of these devices.
